We are commited to the Construction and Maintenance of our service whilst ensuring the optimal Occupational Health and Safety of all employees, contractores and affected parties. This will be done cost effectively and achieved by managing risks and implementing safe systems of work.

To realize this Policy, ElectricalContractor.co.za will:-

• ElectricalContractor.co.za has a legal and moral obligation to safeguard all employees and the public agains injury and disease, as well as risks to Health & Safety, from all operations associated with its business.
• Inform all employees of hazards in the workplace and the precautions to be implemented.
• Minimize the risks to employees and the public of any Health & Safety risks emanating from our operations
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations and standards.In the absence of appropriate legislation,requirements of the company and industrial best practice, where applicable, will be applied.
• Communicate openly with its employees, elected representatives and affected parties to promote a system of enhanced Occupational Health & Safety.
• Follow a preocess of risk management that will continuosly reduce the Occupational Health and Safety Risks associated with the Company's business activities.
• Monitor, on a regular basis, the Occupational Health and Safety effects of its activities and affected parties with the view to improving the system.
• Ensure that all employees are aware of the safety process related to the Company's activities and are competent in their area's of responsibility.
• Implement Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems compliant with OHSAS 18000:1999.
• Continuously improve and comply with the Policy that will be monitored through a process of internal and external auditing and Management review.
